Sherwen's out for the summer.
For this year's Summer Social, we ventured out to the beautiful city of Manchester for a day of fun and games, good food, and for some of us, a chance to finally fulfil our childhood dreams.

We started the day taking charge of the Angry Birds, facing off against King Pig and his minions at Immersive Gamebox, in an incredible life-size digital version of the iconic mobile game.
Once the egg-thieving pigs were vanquished, we journeyed to the Red Planet in Ticket to Mars, to help humanity secure its colony on Mars, where players are tasked with numerous team-building challenges in an out-of-this-world experience.
Turns out there is life on Mars.
After working up an appetite, we headed to The Ivy, and experienced a plethora of taste sensations in a truly beautiful restaurant setting.
(We recommend the Salt-crusted Sourdough Bread for a starter and Chocolate Bombe or the Vanilla Cheesecake for desserts)
The final activity was something we'd been looking forward to for a long time.
The Crystal Maze was a staple of British television, and for a lot of us, to experience the Maze made our childhood dreams come true.
We tested our skills and mystery solving abilities in the Maze's mental and physical challenges across four adventure zones – Medieval, Industrial, Aztec, and Futuristic.
Racing against the clock in each challenge, we successfully managed to win 8 crystals for a total of 40 seconds in the iconic Crystal Dome, where we acquired a score of 167 tokens to round off the day in style.
